Friday, September 10, in the beautiful setting of Piazza Castello, in Reggio Calabria, will host the final event Reggio Karaoke Festival "the first karaoke song contest in the city. Sponsored by the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, Reggio summer program is included in 2010.
Brainchild of George Casella, chairman of the "Reggio Village, who wanted to offer to those who have a passion for singing, an opportunity to perform on a stage and showcase their singing ability.
The intention was to give all those who love to sing, though not professionals, the chance to perform before a large audience, because the formula karaoke was chosen because the competitors were supported by the ability to read words, performing as on peaceful achievements of Italian and international music.
The evening of September 10 is the conclusion of a long journey that has seen all competitors compete in a semifinal and two presets that took place on the dates of 24, 26 and 29 August at the pizza restaurant Modi of Reggio Calabria.
Were over 40 presets to (sign of a positive response to this initiative of the city) and of these only 24 had access to the semifinals where it was chosen the "rose" of 16 competitors will perform on stage in Piazza Castello.
